Sino-German Mining Seminar held in Jinan

Jinan, May 9 - Shandong Energy Group 2012 Sino-German Mining Seminar kicked off in Jinan. The Company’s Chairman and CEO Bu Changsen attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Vice Business Counselor of German Embassy in China Peter Kreutzberger delivered the opening address. The meeting was chaired by Zhai ming Hua, the Company’s Chief Engineer.

Bu Changsen said in his speech that Shandong Energy Group and Germany were historically linked in the mining development, and this relationship formed a good platform for cooperation with bright prospects. The Sino-German Mining Seminar has put up a bridge for communications between China and Germany in the mining business. Shandong Energy Group is willing to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with all parties involved to create safe, productive, efficient and modern mines with increased security.

Mr. Peter Kreutzberger expressed his wish that Chinese and German enterprises could use the seminar as a platform to discuss problems faced by the mining industries in China and Germany, and that German mining companies could contribute to China's energy industry with their experience and technologies.

During the two-day seminar, the German RAG Mining, Famous Industrial Group, Becker Mining Systems Group, Breuer Motors, WAT, and experts and professors from Shandong University and Shandong University of Science and Technology gave presentations on subjects such as weak rock support, rock burst, water damage prevention, underground cooling and dust prevention and control.
