Wrap-up meeting for ordering fair.

Jinan, December 13 to 15 - The Company’s Coal Ordering Fair 2012 was held in Jinan, where a total of 59.53 million tons of coal orders were placed.

The coal ordering fair is the first of its kind since the Company implemented centralized marketing of coal. More than 500 people from 258 customers in metallurgy, electric power, chemicals and building materials in and outside the province attended the ordering fair, where 375 coal supply contracts were concluded, amounting to 59.53 million tons, or 91.5% of coal supplied by Shandong energy Group (excluding coal resources outside the province) in 2012. Of this quantity, 35.6 million tons were clean coal and 23.93 million tons were thermal coal. As coal contracts from within the province will be signed later, the order quantity is expected to reach more than 70 million tons, laying a solid foundation for the 2012 coal production, transportation and demand, as well as coal security.

The Company attaches great importance to this ordering fair and carefully formulates a program that sets out the idea and principle of “preparing well ahead with meticulous planning, effective communications and mutual development in a win-win situation”. Communication meetings were called and deployment was arranged. During the ordering fair, the Company’s Chairman and General Manager Bu Changsen, member of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager Kong Qing, Outside Director and Chief Financial Officer Li Dehua, member of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager Sun Chunjiang, member of the Party Committee and President of Labor Union Su Hongtao and Researcher Li Yiwen met with the participating customers.
