Canada, October 21 - The Company’s Chairman and CEO, Bu Changsen, and deputy General Manager Kong Qing, and Chairman and Party Secretary of Feicheng Mining Group Sun Tinghua visited BC, Canada, to inspect overseas resources development and international trade.

On their first leg of the tour, the delegation inspected coalfields and open cut coal mines and coal preparation plants in the neighborhood in northeastern BC, where they discussed the regional geology and drilling works with the field exploration and technical personnel. The delegation then toured the Prince Rupert in western BC and inspected the construction and operation of Canada's national railways, ports and other infrastructure, and talked to the officials in charge of the Prince Rupert Port Authority and the Ridley Terminals Limited. In-depth understandings of the transfer, delivery and sales of coal and other commodities were obtained. The delegation also met with Cathy Bedard, senator of the Prince Rupert City.

In Victoria, the delegation met with persons in charge of the BC Ministries of Energy and Mineral Resources, with whom they exchanged views on conditions for the Federal Government of Canada and the BC Government to allow foreign capital to assess the province’s mineral resources, as well as assessment and approval procedures for mineral projects and safety and environmental issues.

The delegation also held meetings with some Canadian companies to discuss joint development of coal resources with initial agreements, and met with the Commercial Counselor of the Consulate General of China in Vancouver, where they familiarized themselves with investment environment and resource development in BC.
