Zibo, October10 - The first national standardized Metabolic Management Center (MMC) has set up at the Zibo Coal Mine Central hospital, Shandong Energy Medical and Health Company. Now the patients with metabolic diseases such as diabetes, obesity and hyperlipidemia in the region could enjoy one-stop access of the information communication network of health management.
The MMC can reduce the incidence of metabolic diseases and complications by implementing whole-person, whole-process standardized management. The patients entering MMC would get a personal MMC number, then complete blood pressure, blood sugar and other tests in one clinic room, and takes medicine after diagnosis. Outside the hospital, patients can upload test data independently through mobile terminal, record individual condition, check personal report and record. Meanwhile, doctors can timely monitor patients' related indexes and adjust more suitable prescriptions for patients.
