Shandong Energy Group launches first photovoltaic power generation & storage project

On 10:00 a.m. August 27, the groundbreaking ceremony of Shandong Energy Group's first photovoltaic power generation & storage project was held in Lingtai County, Pingliang City, Gansu Province. It is a new dynamic driver facilitating quality development of new energy for Shandong Energy Group.

In constructing Shenglu Lingtai Phase I 100,000 kW photovoltaic power generation & storage project, Shandong Energy seriously implements the new development concept and the requirements of high-quality development, adhere to the principle of "ecological protection, green development", strive for perfection to build a highly efficient, ecological, first-class photovoltaic power plant so as to transform the green resources into economic benefits and translate the local lucid waters and lush mountains into invaluable assets. Shandong Energy will give full play to their advantages in management, talents and technology, implement scientific management, rational organization and careful construction and ensure that the project will be completed and put into operation as soon as possible with the enterprise spirit of "make any work we do the best", so as to create a new green industry that integrates economic, ecological and social benefits.

Reportedly, the project is the first large-scale centralized photovoltaic power generation & storage project constructed in Lingtai County. It is also the first batch of photovoltaic power generation projects invested and constructed by Shandong Energy Group in Gansu Province during China’s 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-2025). The project adopts the construction mode of "PV power generation + power storage" and "PV power generation + agriculture and animal husbandry". The construction started in August 2021, and will be completed and connected to the grid in April 2022, and the electricity generated will be supplied to Gansu power grid, which will positively promote the coordinated development of economy and environment.
